OMG..imagine la betapa penatnya aku yesterday. Aku tak dapat tido nyenyak coz I was oncall the night before. And even when there wasnt a call, aku stay up kat ward to prepare discharge letter. Aku stat keje kol 7 am, just to make sure aku dapat cover all 4 wards in time. I only ate 2 piece of toast for breakfast. By 12pm, Alhamdulillah semua keje setel. Yang patut balik, setel. Yang ke MGH, setel. 12.30pm, I reviewed all referred case from A&E. Lepas tu ke OPD untuk rescue the other MO. Then an ERPOC at 2pm. Followed by CME at 2.30pm. Then, to OPD again. By 5pm, OPD setel, then to A&E again. Then home by 6pm. Dinner was 2 packet of curry maggi. Then the oncall starts again...
Penyeksaan ialah..
Mengcover 4 ward, dan 3 dari ward tu ward orang lain. Patient berlambak2. Yang menyampah, banyak je yang boleh didiscaj, tapi tak buat. Last2 aku jugak yang kene buat. Imagine this, the day aku cover ward tu, about half of the patient aku discaj. See??!! I mean, kenapa nak simpan patient lama2? Once diorang sihat, terus discaj la kan...Nanti stay lama2 kat spital, bertambah pulak sakit yang lain2.. Ke malas nak buat discaj? Tinggal sume dirty work kat aku??
And then yang bengang, yang patut cepat2 refer MGH, tak pulak buat..menyampah tahap dot dot dot...
And then, kene review patient A&E gak. Luckily, my MAs are so understanding, especially chief MA...
Lepas tu pegi OPD. Dan kesian kat MO yang sorang lagi coz dia hampir hypo melayan patient OPD. Pregnant plak tu, tak ke kesian?
And then, aku oncall pulak..Lunch break gone la sebab kene cover lunch hour...Dan aku jugak postcall 2nd call...
Lepas tu, opis asyik2 rush aku suruh hand in borang naik pangkat, and matron plak asyik2 remind aku pegi CME...
Tak tambah lagi family members yang request nak discuss pasal patient ngan aku...
I'am so damn exhausted..
This is not only torture, this is cruelty. At some point, naik sakit hati towards the 2 MOs yang tinggal ward with all those patient yang patut boleh balik. But at the same time, God really taught me of how strong and patient I can be. And he showed me how nice and kind the staff all around me...
Thank you kepada semua SN and MA yang byk tolong aku. Despite betapa busy life is here, I really enjoy the work..
And yeah, 2 days of this, berat aku sudah turun ke 48kg.. easy job...

2010
Goodbye 2009. Sorry for the late entry.
There had been good memories in 2009. Alhamdulillah, I went through housemanship smoothly. Despite the scary stuff people warned me about each posting, actually I found great friends, built good relationship with MOs, and learned valuable lesson throughout each posting.
Yes, the new year resolution is to be thankful and optimistic.
Got engaged last year, something which had been put on hold for quite sometime. Broke up with my current fiancee twice during our courtship, and even went out with some guys to burn off the anger. Hahaha..ya ampun... And now we're engaged..Fuh!
I got to know more interesting people during my hosuemanship. Dapat kawan baru, and they are such great and kind people. Thank God for letting me know all these interesting and nice people, not those backstabber, those we-all-know-who.
And despite my concern and whining on being 'deported' to Limbang, I found blessing in disguise in this small town. I simply love it. I love the town, the workplace and the hospital staff. I love being 'single' here.. Freedom!
For this year, because of the huge amount of time I have, I plan to study, and think reaaalllly hard on what major I plan to do in future. I think, maybe Emergency Medicine..haha!
Anyway, I wish everyone a good year ahead of us. May God bless us in every good deed we do, and forgive us for all our wrongdoings. Amin. Take care, and love you all.
